S1lk Pay approved by Mastercard & Circle Mint. Crypto Card program

S1LK PAY Ltd. Approved by Mastercard and Circle Mint, Pioneering Stablecoin Integration in the Region.

S1LK PAY Ltd. is proud to announce two significant milestones in its mission to revolutionize the payments landscape by integrating digital currencies with traditional financial systems.

First, S1LK PAY Ltd. has received official approval from Mastercard for its cryptocurrency card program. This groundbreaking program will enable Crypto Card (issued by S1LK PAY, powered by Mastercard) account holders within the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) to seamlessly buy and sell cryptocurrencies. The program is designed with robust compliance measures, including anti-money laundering (AML) controls, to ensure secure and lawful operations in line with Mastercard’s guidelines and local regulations.

In a parallel development, S1LK PAY Ltd. has also successfully completed the business verification process to join the Circle Mint platform. As the only company in the region approved by Circle Mint, which is a Mastercard-approved stablecoin service provider, S1LK PAY Ltd. is now uniquely positioned to conduct settlement in stablecoins with Mastercard as part of the Mastercard Cryptocurrency Card Program. This allows S1LK PAY Ltd. to offer enhanced financial services, leveraging Circle Mint’s state-of-the-art infrastructure to provide secure, efficient, and seamless transactions for its customers.

Yermek Beisebayev, Head of S1LK PAY Ltd., expressed his enthusiasm for these developments: “We are excited to bring these pioneering solutions to the market. Our partnership with Mastercard and Circle Mint underscores our commitment to upholding the highest standards of compliance, security, and innovation in the financial services industry.”

These approvals represent a significant step forward for S1LK PAY Ltd. as it continues to expand financial access and flexibility within the region, solidifying its role as a leader in the integration of digital currencies and traditional payment systems.
