Core Offerings & Technology:
AI Cloud Platform: Known as Crusoe Cloud, this platform provides access to high-performance GPUs (NVIDIA and AMD) for AI training and inference.
Sustainable Energy: Crusoe powers its data centers using a diverse energy portfolio, including wind, solar, hydropower, and geothermal. They are also exploring advanced nuclear power (SMRs) through partnerships.
Modular Data Centers: The company offers Crusoe Spark, prefabricated modular “AI factories” that can be deployed quickly for edge or on-premise AI workloads.
Managed Services: In November 2025, Crusoe launched Managed Inference services featuring “MemoryAlloy” technology to optimize performance for production-scale AI.

Funding: Raised $1.375 billion in Series E funding in October 2025, led by Mubadala Capital and Valor Equity Partners.
Expansion: Acquired Israel-based startup Atero in August 2025 to improve infrastructure performance through better memory utilization.
Major Partnerships:
Partnered with Oracle to build a massive data center for “Stargate,” a multi-billion dollar venture involving OpenAI and SoftBank.
Formed a $3.4 billion joint venture with Blue Owl Capital to develop an AI data center campus capable of housing up to 100,000 GPUs.
Partnered with Starcloud to launch the first “cloud operator in space,” including plans to send an NVIDIA H100 GPU into orbit in November 2025.
Leadership
The company is led by co-founder and CEO Chase Lochmiller, a former quantitative trader and researcher with degrees from MIT and Stanford. It is headquartered in Denver, Colorado.
